106 CREDIT HOURS
The Metro Business College Associate of Applied Science Degree for Medical Specialist is awarded to a student who successfully completes all the graduation requirements or its equivalent. The Medical Specialist Associate of Applied Science Degree consists of 106 credit hours and normally takes five (5) quarters to complete the classroom training plus a 200 hour externship and a 66 hour externship.
The Medical Specialist AAS Degree is designed to give students additional employment opportunities in the health care field. Chances for employment are further enhanced by the completion of this program and normally provide rapid advancement opportunities. This program of study normally takes five (5) quarters to complete plus a 200 hour externship.
